Bopp & Steve - Firmware Upgrade Guide

Upgrade procedure
Things you will need
- a Bopp & Steve in a suitably powered eurorack system.
- a USB-C cable.
- a PC.
- The latest firmware: DOWNLOAD
Upgrading
- Download and unzip the firmware. You now have a firmware .uf2 file.
- Connect the Bopp & Steve to the power rail of your eurorack but keep it powered off.

Connect the Bopp & Steve with a USB-C cable to your pc.
- While pressing the little button on the edge of the Bopp & Steve board near the USB connector, power up your eurorack.

- The Bopp & Steve will appear as a drive on your PC. This drive will probably be called something like RP2350.
- Let go of the little button.
- Copy the firmware .uf2 file to the Bopp & Steve drive.
- The Bopp & Steve will automatically restart after the copy is done and it will blink its LEDs.
- Power down your eurorack system.
- Disconnect the USB cable.
- You are done!
- Screw the Bopp & Steve back in to your system.
